This is a special edition available in only 1913 examples, as a tribute to the founding year of the Navy Air Force, of which the founders Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi and Giovanni Ravelli were part. It is a model that brings together the latest innovations in motorcycling in an exclusive livery, celebrating Moto Guzzi's origins that have always been linked to the Navy.
Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale is inspired by the F-35B fighter aircraft. The graphics follow those of the aircraft, with the Navy insignia on both sides of the cockpit and typical 'jet intake' stripes marking the jet's air intakes. The livery is also enriched by the low-visibility tricolour cockade on the sides of the fuel tank, the Naval Aviation crest and the Embarked Aircraft Group logo.
Standard features include a tyre pressure monitoring system and heated handlegrips, while the serial number is laser etched on the handlebar riser. Each one of the bikes comes with its own cover and a commemorative plaque.
It's the Navy's flagship, one of the most important national defence projects and home to the Naval Squadron Commander-in-Chief's Insignia. It is the symbol par excellence of the Navy, today made even more special by the unveiling of the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale, right on its majestic flight deck.
